    Description: 
    A uniformed soldier and sailor stand at attention in front of a brick wall which once contained a large square plaque that is now missing. The soldier is on the left and he holds a rifle by his proper right side. The sailor is on the right and he holds a rifle by his proper right side. The soldier's uniform is painted green and the sailor's uniform is painted blue. The skin of each figure is painted white. At the front of the monument are two short pillars, each with a black cannonball on top.
