Description:
Full-length portrait of Casey Tibbs, rodeo champion, atop a famous bucking horse Necktie. Tibbs' proper right arm is raised and extended back, while his proper left hand grips the rope attached to the horse's bridle. The horse is bucking, his two rear feet up in the air. The statue sits atop a rectangular base with logos and board member names listed on south end; donor names listed on west end; and photoengraving of Casey Tibbs on north end.

Remarks:
The statue commemorates Casey Tibbs (1929-1990), world champion rodeo rider. The statue cost $150,000 and its unveiling was part of the Hall of Fames' 10th anniversary celebration. 1/8th size replicas were created for funders. IAS files contain related newsclippings.
