    Description: 
    Sculpture of twenty-five birds in flight installed on a cylindric base in a round pool. The birds are perched on three lines which spiral upward, as they take flight. As the sculpture rises, the lines and birds converge into a single line of birds.

    Remarks: 
    The fountain and park are a gift of Alexandra Ordway Bjorkland and Pondie Ordway Johnson in memory of their mother, Gladys Ford Ordway. The sculpture was inspired by sketches of a proposed Ordway Park with a fountain as the centerpiece of rose gardens. IAS files include an invitation and program from the dedication.
