    Description: 
    Abstract sculpture constructed of six vertical non-symmetrical layers of limestone. The layers are carved on the top and side edges in rounded, billowing peaks, and are tightly bound to each other back-to-back so as to create a multi-dimensional effect. The sculpture sits on two horizontal rectangles of limestone, which in turn rest on a two-stepped concrete base.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture was designed by George Preuss. The sculptors were all part of a team from the Kansas Sculptors Stone Symposium. The team worked on weekends from July 28 - Oct. 23, 1990. The Symposium was held Sept. 8-9, 1990. The limestone was initially cut at Bayer Stone Company which donated the stone. The limestone layers were assembled on site with 12 foot stainless steel pins and stone epoxy.
