Description:
Two traditionally styled Chinese lions, each on the side of a walkway. The lions are sitting and facing forward, their heads turned towards each other. Each is resting the inside paw on an embroidered ball. The lion on the proper right has a lion cub between its front paws; the cub is resting on the paw on the embroidered ball. Each lion stands on a rectangular pedestal.

Remarks:
SOS! survey reports the lions to be a gift from the People's Republic of China; Rupp reports the lions were a gift from the government of Taiwan and were presented to the Seattle's World's Fair in 1962. SOS! survey reports the lions are carved of stone, possible sandstone; Rupp reports the lions are carved of concrete.
