    Site-specific work commissioned for the Civic Center by the City of Palo Alto Public Art Commission. The work was created in April 1994, and was completed, copyrighted, and dedicated in March or April 1995. A nearby glass plaque reads: S.01.95/"From its beginnings on the rude walls of caves, art has given form to the most cherished values of civilizations." Albert Elsein 1927-1995/Dedicated to his memory./FORGOTTEN LANGUAGE/I learn to make my mind large as the universe is large, so that there is room for paradoxes.
