Standing Madonna with outstretched arms. The figure is dressed in robes and a hooded cape. She has a large brooch at her neck. The statue is set atop a circular stepped base.

Remarks:
The sculpture cost $340,000 and was funded by private donations for the new Shrine of Our Lady of Peace. Prior to its permanent installation in Santa Clara, the sculpture was on display at Rodney Square in Wilmington (Delaware); displayed in Philadelphia (Pennsylvania) and in Chicago (Illinois).
