He twirls a lasso in his proper right hand. "Dolly," a buxom woman in a dress, stands to his right; she holds a fan in her proper left hand and a parasol in her proper right hand. To her right kneels "Gold Pan Sam," a prospector tilting a goldpan with his proper left hand. Sitting behind him is "Chief," an Indian wearing feathers and warpaint and holding a peace pipe. To Sam's right is "Tex," a cowboy holding a pistol in each hand. To the right front of these five figures is a prostitute named "Tricksy," standing by a street lamp.
