    Description: 
    Full-length uniformed Civil War soldier stands at parade rest. He wears a long caped coat, cap, with a sheathed bayonet on his proper left side and an ammunition case on his proper right side. His rifle is held vertically in front of him with both hands around the barrel. There is a relief of an eagle within a wreath on the front of the base.

    Remarks: 
    Erected under the auspices of the A. S. Warner Camp, Grand Army of the Republic. The final cost was $3,500. The idea for the monument originated in 1899 and a fundraising campaign began in 1911. IAS files contain text of a poem from a related plaque inside the courthouse and correspondence from the Pulaski town historian dated Aug. 19, 1994.
