(On proper right back of bench:) DAVID OWEN DODD, A SOUTHERN BOY OF 17, WHEN LEAVING FOR HIS/HOUSE IN THE SOUTHERN PART OF THE STATE, WAS ARRESTED, TRIED/BY FEDERAL COURT MARTIAL AND HANGED IN FRONT OF OLD/ST.
