Description:
A uniformed Confederate soldier stands at parade rest, his arms bent, holding a rifle by the stock at waist level, the butt resting by his proper right foot. He wears a plain, brimmed hat, with a canteen hanging from his proper right shoulder, and perhaps a sword holder hanging from his proper left shoulder. The soldier is mounted upon a tall pedestal of both smooth and rough-edged stone that includes reliefs of crossed flags on the front and an anchor on the back. The lower section of the base is rough-edged and stepped, with a relief of crossed cannons on the front.
