Medium:  Buff limestone. Dimensions:  Approx. 10 ft. x 20 ft. x 24 in. Inscription:  unsigned Description:  Limestone bas-relief depicting a fireman's shield. On the face of the shield are a ladder, helmet, fire hose nozzle and other firefighting implements. The fireman's shield is part of a larger, decorative shield which is surrounded on both sides by horns of plenty and ribbons. The sculpture is located at the top of the facade of a building.
