Description:
A memorial likeness of John H. Kilgore. He stands dressed in trousers and an open-collared, long-sleeved shirt. His proper right hand hangs to his proper right side while his proper left hand clutches a book to his proper left side. The statue stands atop a stepped base with a vertical backing.
