    Description: 
    A female figure, symbolizing Justice, stands barefoot wearing a cinched sleeveless garment with her proper right shoulder exposed. She is blindfolded and holds the hilt of a sword with her proper right hand. The sword hangs downward with the tip resting near her feet. In her raised proper left hand she holds the "scales of justice." The figure is placed atop a stepped base.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture of Lady Justice was formerly located atop the dome of the 1904 Oakland County Courthouse in Pontiac, Michigan. It was removed, restored, and placed at its current location through a cooperative effort by the Oakland County Bar Association, the Oakland County Cultural Council, the Oakland County Historical Commission, and the Oakland County Pioneer and Historical Society.
