Remarks:
Initially commissioned and funded by United Bank and developer Joe E. Woods for $15,000. The piece was chosen to complement the United Bank Plaza by Christopher Coover, of CSA Architects, the firm that designed the building. The piece is part of the artist's Parallelapipe Series and is designed to be touched, sat under and sat upon. IAS files contain related article from Mesa Tribune, Jan. 26, 1986. United Bank no longer exists. Building and plaza currently owned by Norwest Bank.
