A sculpted island setting in a lagoon, with a concrete pedestrian cantilevered walkway. The island is dominated by an irregular-shaped mound and there is seating at its bottom and top. On the lower level, there is a tidal pool. Cut limestone steps, placed over a concrete foundation, form the base and lead down to the lagoon's edge.

The sculpture was commissioned for the new Dade County Courthouse, designed by Arquitectonica. The pedestrian walkway to the island was initially part of the Arquitectonica design, but was incorporated by the artist into her design of the sculpture.
