Inscription:  (East end, proper right corner:) GHS (monogram inscribed within a circle) 85 signed Description:  Abstract sculpture suggesting the flowing forms of the Merrimack River. Large grey granite block sculptured with undulous wave contours, then intersected by four rectangular slabs of black granite. Emerging from crest is an aluminum plate cut to resemble the silhouette of clouds or splashing water. Black granite base is a solid rectangle.
