Description:
Relief on pediment of New State Capitol building depicting fourteen human figures and a dog. Figures are engaged in the arts, agriculture,and industry. Central figure is a classically draped, seated woman with a sword in her proper right hand and a palm frond in her proper left hand. Figures to the left of her hold a horn of plenty, a book, what appears to be a basket of food, a harp, and lyre. Figures to the right of her are holding and working with industrial tools. Dog is next to the last figure on right.
