2 figures. St. Francis: approx. 65 x 18 x 21 in.; Wolf: approx. 33 x 11 1/2 x 21 1/2 in.; Foundation: approx. 3 in. x 3 ft. x 5 ft.

St. Francis and a wolf placed facing each other. St. Francis stands with proper left hand extended forward and proper right hand held in a gesture of blessing. He wears a Franciscan habit with a rope belt and has bare feet. The wolf sits on his haunches with head raised. The figures, each on their own bases, are placed on a concrete foundation.

The sculpture was originally located in the main lobby of St. Anthony Novitiate in Auburn, Indiana. The novitiate was closed around 1975 and the sculpture was moved to Mount St. Francis in the late 1970s.
