Inscription:  (On front of base, incised letters:) ABRAHAM LINCOLN/WITH MALICE TOWARD NONE/WITH CHARITY FOR ALL unsigned Description:  A bearded portrait bust of Abraham Lincoln, dressed in a jacket with a shirt and thin bow tie, mounted atop an inscribed base. Remarks:  The bust was originally sited in front of the American Legion building in Long Branch, New Jersey. When this property was sold, the bust was returned to the artist. The bust was unveiled at its present location on Feb. 12, 1963, in commemoration of the 154th birthday of President Lincoln.
