    Description: 
    A memorial consisting of two parts. The left side of the memorial contains a portrait bust of Edgar H. Lloyd done in a deep circular relief. Incised below the relief is a decorative Medal of Honor. The central and larger section of the memorial contains the relief of a stylized eagle perched on laurel branches. The portrait bust and the eagle are placed above incised markings.

    Remarks: 
    The Lloyd Memorial was erected in honor of Army First Lieutenant Edgar H. Lloyd who was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor. It also memorializes those men and women from Mississippi County who lost their lives in World Wars I and II.
