    Remarks: 
    Commissioned under the Minnesota Percent for Art in Public Places Program for $16,000. The birds depicted in the sculpture represent the 18 species migrating every spring and fall at Weaver Bottoms on the Mississippi River, about 30 miles north of Winona. IAS files contain the artist's proposal for the sculpture and a related article from Inside Winona State, Winter, 1994.
