St. Joseph, (sculpture). Artist:  Daprato Statuary Company, fabricator. Title:  St. Joseph, (sculpture). Other Titles:  Saint Joseph, (sculpture). Medium:  Sculpture: appears to be a poured-mold stone, mass produced; Base: white stone chips glued to base surface. Dimensions:  Sculpture: approx. 57 1/2 x 19 x 13 in.; Base: approx. 20 x 17 x 17 in. Inscription:  (Proper left rear on plinth:) DAPRATO STUDIOS/PIETRASANTA/ITALY Founder's mark appears. Description:  A smaller than life-size standing figure of St. Joseph. He wears long robes, a long cloak, and sandals. He holds a carpenter's square and the edge of his cloak in his proper right hand. In his proper left hand he holds the stem of a lily with three blooms. He has wavy hair and a full beard and his gaze is down. His proper right leg is slightly bent. The figure stands on a 2 1/2 inch high plinth which rests on top of the base.
