Inscription:  (On bronze plaque on front of lectern:) A NATION THAT/HONORS ITS VETERANS IS/A NATION DEDICATED/TO THE PRESERVATION/OF A FREEDOM WON/BY THE SACRIFICE OF LIFE/ITSELF. THESE EMBLEMS/ARE APPROPRIATELY/DEDICATED TO THE VALIANT/DEAD OF THE ARMED/FORCES WHO VENTURED FAR,/FOUGHT BRAVELY, AND GAVE/THEIR LIVES TO PRESERVE/FREEDOM AND LIBERTY/IN OUR LAND. TOGETHER/THEY LIE HERE IN MUTE/TESTIMONY TO THE MANNER IN WHICH THEY LIVED,/WORKED AND FOUGHT TO/ACHIEVE THE VICTORIES/IN ORDER THAT AMERICA/MAY LIVE unsigned Description:  Installation of six, individual life-size figures flanking a central limestone lectern; three on each side. The figures represent the branches of the military and wear their respective uniforms. On the far proper right is an airman followed by a female Army nurse, a sailor, a Coast Guardsman, an Army soldier, and a Marine. Each marble figure stands on its own limestone base. Behind the lectern and the sculptures is a row flagpoles.
