    Description: 
    A uniformed Civil War soldier stands holding his rifle in front of him with both hands. On his back he carries a knapsack with a bedroll on top. The sculpture is mounted on a square, stepped base, with a bronze relief plaque of the insignia of Pennsylvania on one side and a bronze relief plaque with the insignia of the G.A.R. on the rear.

    Remarks: 
    The monument was erected in memory of Colonel H. I. Zinn who died at the Battle of Fredericksburg in 1862. Zinn helped to form the 130th Pennsylvania Volunteer Regiment and was elected colonel of the regiment. G.A.R. Post #415, organized in 1884, was named in his honor.
