    The sculpture was a gift of Vera Glaser List in memory of Samuel Glaser, Class of 1925. IAS files contain an excerpt from "Art and Architecture at MIT: A Walking Tour of the Campus," Committee on the Visual Arts, 2nd ed., Sept. 1988, pg. 78. The inscription on a nearby plaque reads: GIFT OF/VERA GLASER LIST/IN MEMORY OF SAMUEL GLASER/CLASS OF 1925/HENRY MOORE/BORN 1898/RECLINING FIGURE/1963/WORKING MODEL FOR/LINCOLN CENTER SCULPTURE/BRONZE, EDITION 1 OF 2.
