Description:
A carillon with a steel beam structure between which are three graduated sized bells without clappers. The bells are radio controlled to play various taped music. There is a speaker system at the top of the carillon.

Foundation of the carillon was erected by the American Legion of Anne Arundel County in memory of John F. McNulty and all deceased veterans. Nearby plaque reads: AMVET/PRESENTED AND DEDICATED/A CARILLON/AS A LIVING MEMORIAL/TO MARYLAND VETERANS/WHO SERVED THEIR COUNTRY/FOR THE CAUSE OF FREEDOM/SEPTEMBER 29, 1984/CROWNSVILLE VETERANS CEMETRY (sic)/"As these bells ring...honored dead rest...freedom lives."
