Sculpture: fiberglass and polyester, painted with high gloss enamel; Base: reinforced concrete and brick.

Sculpture: approx. 14 ft. x 72 in. x D. 36 in.; Base: approx. H. 34 in. x W. 97 in.

Christ stands wearing windblown robes, his arms outstretched and palms upward. The sculpture is painted with bronze paint and mounted upon a concrete base sided with white brick. It is surrounded by shrubbery and lit by spotlights, and overlooks a man-made pond.

Formerly located Sacred Heart Hospital, Pennsylvania

Sculpture was originally commissioned for a Sacred Heart Hospital in Pennsylvania. It was dedicated there in 1984 to the employees. Several years later, the hospital closed and the sculpture was moved in 1991 to its current site. The sculpture is popularly known as "Big God," a nickname given it by a 3 1/2 year old child. The current base was built by the employees of the Hospital.
