Description:
Decorative seat wall and five bollards. The wall is painted in a wave pattern with sculpted images of various animals and representative Florida flora and fauna. The bollards contain sculpted birds, possibly pelicans.

Remarks:
Funded by the Florida Department of Transportation, Urban Mass Transportation Administration for $25,000. American Illusion painted the waves and assisted with the installation. Sculpture is painted in oils and coated with a lacquer sealant. IAS files include information from the files of the Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority (HART), the artist's proposal and recommendations for maintenance, a HART press release, March 13, 1990, and citations to the Tampa Tribune, March 22 & 23, 1990. IAS files also contain the text of the inscriptions on the commemorative plaques.
