Haycock says, "I do mean to suggest radio waves vibrating from a central point. It is designed so that vertical jets of water, from the pond 17 in. below, plume or bathe the sculpture and become an integral part of it." On the wall next to the sculpture are six wall relief depiction scenes from the invention of the radio.
