    Remarks:
Seaport Landing Inc. and the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Management commissioned the Rosenbergs of Art in Public Places to create this mural for the east side of the Seaport Landing Condominiums. The Rosenbergs met with many community groups and historians to get a sense of what was important to the community. The Rosenbergs also met regularly with the Lynn Historical Society and a small group of residents including Mary Robertson and Kathy Wrynn who helped the Rosenbergs make clay impressions of artifacts kept at the Lynn Historical Society. Youngsters from Camp Kiwanis, created their own clay imprints of leaves and other vegetation found in the woods around Lynn, and the Rosenbergs subsequently incorporated these pieces into the mural. Others from the community contributed ideas, drawings, old photographs, and historic relics. IAS files contain a newspaper article from the Post (Lynn, MA), July 30, 1985 and a newsletter from the Friends of the Lynn Heritage State Park.
