Inscription:  (Incised on base, center:) WESTERLY-PAWCATUCK/WAR MEMORIAL/IN MEMORY OF ALL WHO GAVE THEIR/LIVES AND IN HONOR OF ALL WHO/SERVED TO PRESERVE OUR FREEDOM. (Names are listed on panels on either side of the center base) Description:  Full-length figures of a uniformed soldier and two children. The soldier holds a small child in his proper right arm and embraces an older boy with his proper left arm. A duffle bag sits behind the figures. The figures stand on a central base with the main inscription which is flanked by slabs listing the names of those who served in American wars.
