    Remarks: 
    Provided by the Charles Edison Fund. The monument commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Rotary Club and the 100th anniversary of Edison's invention of the incandescent light bulb. Bust is a casting from an original in the Park Services Archives. Behind the wall is a replica of Edison's original light bulb on a tall base. IAS files contain transcriptions of nearby plaques. IAS files also contain related articles from West Orange Chronicle (West Orange, NJ), June 15, 1978 and June 29, 1978, pg. 3.
