Inscription:  (On side of proper right shoulder, incised lettering:) RODULFO TARDO/1967 (On bronze plaque on upper front of base, raised lettering:) LA PATRIA ES ARA/NO PEDESTAL/JOSE MARTI/JANUARY 28, 1968 signed Description:  A bust of Jose Marti with a moustache, wearing a bow tie and lapelled jacket. The bust is mounted upon a pedestal of polished green marble with a stepped lower section, and set on a square fieldstone foundation. The memorial is surrounded by a low, iron fence.
