Abstract sculpture composed of rods angled and bent to represent the image of the severely wind-torn and deformed tree which resulted from the Tracy Tornado of 1968.

The sculpture commemorates the tornado which struck the City of Tracy on June 13, 1968, in which nine people died. The sculpture cost was $5,000. IAS files contain related articles from the Tracy Headlight-Herald, July 24, 1969 and June 8, 1988 and the text of a nearby commemorative plaque.
