Inscription:  (On emblem at top of sculpture:) LIONS/L/INTERNATIONAL unsigned Description:  Abstract stainless steel column rises up out of brick and concrete fountain. An emblem of the Lions International club is mounted to the top of the column. Lights are mounted on the top corners of the column. The square fountain pool is lined with fiberglass. Subject:  Abstract -- Geometric Object Type:  Outdoor Sculpture -- California -- Shasta Lake Fountain Sculpture Owner:  Administered by Shasta Lake Lions Club, 4121 Shasta Dam Boulevard, Shasta Lake, California 96019 Located 4370 Shasta Dam Boulevard, Shasta Lake, California Remarks:  Title supplied by Inventory cataloger. The fountain was constructed in 1970 on land deeded to the Shasta Dam Area Public Utility District. The fountain was built and maintained by members of the Shasta Lake Lions Club. In 1993 the fountain was remodeled and restored and the steel sculpture added to replace an existing brick structure. The fountain was deeded back to the Lions Club by the Utility District in 1993.
