Description:
A World War I soldier stands with his weight on his proper right leg, proper left foot slightly forward and bent at the knee. He holds the barrel of a rifle with both hands, resting the rifle butt on the ground. The sculpture is mounted on a two-tiered, tapered, rough-hewn base.
