    Description: 
    Proper right panel is a relief depicting an 8 in. howitzer in action on the field. Proper left panel is a relief depicting a sea gun in battery. Center panel contains the names of the members of the 13th Coast Defense Command, M.G.N.Y. who died during the war and all members of the command who answered the call in July 1917. The panel is surmounted by an eagle with outstretched wings.
