    A memorial consisting of five pieces, including a commemorative marker and four plaques with battle scenes from World War I, World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War.

    Remarks: 
    The committee of veterans who initiated the memorial chose the pictures for the plaques from books and magazines. The monument company enlarged the pictures and sandblasted them onto the stone. IAS files contain a related statement from Monticello Public Library and detailed dimensions of the memorial.
