    Remarks:
The project to decorate the town's oil rig pump jacks was conceived by the Chamber of Commerce. The sculptures were donated by the artists; the Chamber of Commerce contributed the paint. The sculptures move up and down as the pumps do and are bolted on for easy removal for working on the pump units. Bassett created the girl eating the watermelon; Kumpe created Uncle Sam; the remaining sculptures were done by Thomas. IAS files contain detailed dimensions and locations for each individual sculpture.
