Inscription:  (Incised on plaque:) VILLAGE CROSS/ERECTED 1917 CHAS M. SCHWAB/RECONSTRUCTED 1987/VILLAGE CROSS RESTORATION COMMITTY (sic) unsigned Description:  Octagonal column stands on an octagonal base within a circular basin. The column has open bell tower at top, with a rooster weather vane. Two demi-basins at the foot of the base have masks from which water spouted.
