    Description: 
    A standing Confederate soldier with brimmed hat. He has a rolled blanket over his proper left shoulder. His proper right hand holds a musket at muzzle, the butt which rests at his feet. His proper left hand rests on his canteen that attaches to his belt at proper left side. There is a tree stump behind his proper left leg. Figure stands on a tall multitiered base with relief flags on the front and back.
