    Description: 
    Metal bas-relief plaque depicting Gen. George Washington's retreat through Leonia on Nov. 20, 1776. Washington is on horseback. He is seen in proper left profile. Two soldiers march in front of Washington's horse and several soldiers march behind the horse. Washington wears a long overcoat with cape and a tri-corner hat. The relief plaque is mounted to the side of a fieldstone base.
