Inscription:  unsigned Description:  A large turtle with a brown and orange shell, yellow glass eyes, and black head and feet. The turtle is mounted upon a square foundation. Subject:  Animal -- Reptile -- Turtle Object Type:  Outdoor Sculpture -- California -- Joshua Tree Sculpture Owner:  Located Highway 62 near Park Boulevard, Joshua Tree, California Remarks:  The turtle was completely rebuilt by Howard Pierce and his wife, Ellen Pierce.
