Remarks:
The sculpture was installed in honor of Jacob and Ernestine Sterne by their children. The statue of Hebe was created by Moretti and cast by J. L. Mott Iron Works. The sculpture was sandblased in the 1960s. It was restored in 1981 by Phoebe Dent Weil (Washington University Technology Associates). On Dec. 3, 1983, a Texas Historical Marker was dedicated for the fountain. The historical marker was later removed.
