Chain saw carved sculpture of two eagles seated on two levels and facing slightly different directions, on an irregular multilevel platform. Originally there was a third eagle (now missing) on a level between them. The sculpture is carved from a tree trunk.

The sculpture was carved from an elm tree, believed to have been about 70 to 75 years old. The work was commissioned by Peter Nohner. The third eagle was stolen in 1993. IAS files contain newspaper clipping from the Long Prairie Leader, Oct. 30, 1985; and excerpt from Moira F. Harris' "Monumental Minnesota," St. Paul, MN: Pogo Press, 1992, pg. 78.
