    Marble memorial arch surmounted by a bronze eagle. The eagle's wings are wide spread.

    Remarks: 
    The arch was installed in 1905 at a cost of $1,550. Scholton designed the arch which was fabricated by The Extra Dark Marble Company. The eagle on top of the arch was given by Miss Jennie Dean and was installed after the arch was dedicated. W. H. Mullins cast the eagle and Corbin was contracted to install it. IAS files contain copy of related article from Gouverneur Northern Tribune, Feb. 27, 1906 and copy of related dedication ceremony program.
