    Description: 
    A full-length portrait of Indian princess Pocahontas at about age twelve. She wears Native-American costume, including a short, fringed dress that is tied at the waist and bares the arms and shoulders. She wears a shell necklace, earrings, and leather arm and leg bands. She carries a basket of corn in her proper left hand and holds out an ear of corn with her extended proper right hand. The figure is mounted on top of an inscribed pedestal which is atop a short platform.
