Dimensions:  Sculpture: approx. 9 ft. x 3 ft. x 3 ft. 6 in.; Basin: approx. 8 ft. x 8 ft. x 2 ft. 6 in. Description:  Full-length classical female figure. She wears a flowing robe and holds a vessel against her proper right hip. The concrete sculpture stands in the center of a concrete fountain basin. Myers, Florida Remarks:  The sculpture was commissioned by developer James D. Newton. It was modeled after a similar sculpture in Chestnut Hill, PA. The sculpture was dedicated to the city in honor of Thomas A. Edison, a resident of Ft. Myers at the time. The sculpture was restored in 1983 by Donald Joseph Wilkins (Ft.
