Sculpture: approx. 5 1/2 ft. x 1 1/2 ft. x 16 in.; Base: approx. 3 x 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 ft.

Standing full-length figure of St. Joseph with the Christ Child in his hands. St. Joseph is wearing long robes and holds lilies to his chest with the crook of his proper left arm. The Christ Child has his proper right arm raised in a symbol of peace, and holds the sacred heart in his proper left hand.

Sculpture was once located at one of the stairways to the entrance of the former Perpetual Adoration Convent. A nearby plaque reads: ST. JOSEPH STATUE/FROM/PERPETUAL ADORATION/CONVENT/(1899)/ERECTED ON THIS SIGHT/A GIFT TO THE CHILDREN/FROM/HELEN AND DICK WHITE/AUGUST, 1980.
